Do you love the cutting edge high production value of live theatre?
Do you love Civic because you love the movie selections?
Do you love Civic because of what Civic Theatre School offers and its positive effect on students?
Do you love Civic’s annual A Christmas Carol that is produced for the public as well as for over three thousand students—often the first theatre seen by so many of them!
Whatever the reason,
NOW IS THE TIME YOU CAN BE PART OF THE HISTORIC RENOVATION of Civic’s beloved 19th Street Theatre home!
Running Civic’s Capital Campaign is like running a marathon, a very special marathon where finishing with a record time is the only option because the trophy is an historic treasure that Allentown gets to keep only if we are victorious.
The $5.5 million renovation of the 19th Street Art Deco Theatre and home to Civic Theatre is in its final stages, and we promise the new look will “knock your socks off!”
The finish line is in sight BUT CIVIC NEEDS YOU to join us as we sprint toward glory. Your generosity at ANY LEVEL will benefit the generations that follow in your footsteps.
Civic’s main goal is to give every person who wants to secure a place in Civic’s history an opportunity to do so now at this crucial stage of the campaign.
Your donation is worth twice its value.
All new pledges that are made before August 30th (up to $150,000)
WILL BE MATCHED BY THE AMAZING ALVIN H. BUTZ, INC.
All capital campaign donors will be listed in the Grand Opening Commemorative Booklet. Many of you have already contributed to Civic’s capital campaign and we remain deeply grateful for your support—we would be delighted if you could extend your level of contribution!
