WHITECHAPEL DIARY SHOW MENU

J
ack the Ripper presents one of the most intriguing mysteries in criminal history. The gruesome 1888 murders of prostitutes in London's squalid Whitechapel district have never been solved: no murderer has been found, the killer's methods are a matter of speculation, and even the motive for the killings remains hazy.

This intriguing World Premiere play presents one plausible -- but surprising -- explanation of why the killer struck, and how the killer evaded capture. Part thriller and part social history, a version of Whitechapel Diary was presented last year in a sold-out Staged Reading.

"Sickels has a fabulous ear for dialogue, and she is able to create scenes and characters that are real and engaging." (The Morning Call).
