 Civic offers a number of Special Events throughout the Season. Here are some of the highlights: Fall Gala 2000 You're invited to this year's Gala fundraising event, 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Holiday Inn Fogelsville. It's a great way to support Civic and enjoy food and fun, all at the same time. This year's event will feature live entertainment, first-rate cuisine, a live and silent auction and more! Staged Readings Series Join us for a series of Staged Readings, in the new Second Stage space. The Staged Readings will feature the work of local playwrights in an intimate cabaret setting, with refreshments. Donation requested. Performances are Saturdays at 8 p.m.: Nov. 11, Jan. 13 and May 19. Playwrights: We want your scripts! If you're a playwright and you'd like us to consider your script, please send it to us: A Lehigh Valley Christmas In Concert Fast becoming one of our favorite holiday traditions, this fantastic concert will return Sunday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. Presented by Civic and Bummer Tent Records, the show features all your favorite local performers, from the cabaret rock of Zen for Primates, to Blackwater's traditional Celtic tunes, to the choral music of ACCO.
