Civic Theatre of Allentown is a 501c3 non-profit organization with over 80 years of history in the Lehigh Valley. Started by two Morning Call reporters in 1927 as “Civic Little Theatre,” the current day Civic Theatre of Allentown relies on the creativity, passion and inspiration of the staff members, the board and the thousands of volunteers that are mutually invested in Civic’s growth and success. Civic Theatre stands on three pillars: theatre, film and education. Civic prides itself on creating professional productions with a community feel, as our shows feature some of the local region’s finest talents. We are also the Lehigh Valley’s only full time cinema exclusively showing art, independent and foreign films. And finally, our theatre school that has been nurturing a love of live theatre in the Valley’s youth for over 50 years. We thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about our Theatre. We hope to see you soon. |
