Musical Theatre Intensive Sessions
Students in grades 6-8 can take either the regular session, the Musical Theatre session, or both. Students in grades 9-12 can add the Musical Theatre component. Those who do can also enroll in the following workshop:

Students will rehearse and perform a fully staged musical theatre production. Participants must take one of the July SAS sessions for grades 9-12, including the Musical Theatre Intensive Session.

|
Classes, divided by grade level, include small group, as well as individual instruction, and emphasize the process of acting. The instructors will work with students to teach them how to access and utilize their talents and grow as performers. Because instructors have made a commitment to limiting class size, each student will have a number of opportunities to perform and/or work on skills each day.
All grade levels are 2008-09; students in the 6th- to 8th-grade session, for example, will have completed 5th, 6th or 7th grade during the current 2008-09 school year. Each class is 10 days, Monday through Friday for two weeks.
