Civic Theatre of Allentown has named Diane Donaher as Managing Director. Donaher will be the administrative director of the organization. An experienced community leader, she was most recently the Executive Director of IronPigs Charities since 2017. She has held a variety of leadership roles within community organizations including Executive Director of the SkillsUSA Council, Director of Community & Economic Development for Northampton County, Trustee of the R.K. Laros Foundation, and past president of both the Bethlehem and Morning Star Rotary Clubs.

“We are thrilled that Diane has joined the team at Civic,” said Sharon Glassman, President emeritus of Civic’s Board of Directors, “She will work in partnership with Artistic Director William Sanders. Her business and nonprofit experience, along with her extensive community network, made her our top choice for this leadership role at the theatre.”

Donaher has an undergraduate degree in Human Services Administration from New Hampshire College, a graduate degree in Training and Development from St. Joseph’s University and a Non Profit Executive Certificate from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Eastern PA Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She lives in Hanover Township, PA with her husband Dean and has two adult children Darah and Drew who have been very active in Lehigh Valley theatre productions.
